Ayan Kasera: A Young Speaker with a Big Dream

In another interview session with our young little champions we have Ayan Kasera with us. Cheerful and talented Ayan is a student of Kolkata International School, currently studying in Grade 4B. In the recent interview session with him by GEMA Education, Ayan shared his journey of participation in the speech contest and also shared some moments of excitement, challenges, and dreams throughout the process of the contest and his journey. Ayan’s joy was unhidden when he was asked how he felt after winning the best speaker contest in the interview. He said the winning moment was a moment which was only filled with happiness and excitement. Ayan’s idea of a role model was the center of his speech which was able to resonate with each and everyone. Ayan believes that anyone who never gives up and tries hard deserves appreciation and admiration instead of limiting the idea of a role model to any single successful person. Ayan credited his parents for their constant support during the preparation phase. Although he practiced diligently, he admitted facing moments where he would forget parts of his speech. However, showing great presence of mind for his age, he decided to deliver it in his own words, making it natural and heartfelt. Another obstacle for young speaker Ayan was his stage fear. But, Ayan overcame his stage fright by his confidence. He mentioned that his favorite part throughout the contest was experiencing meeting people whom he had always looked up to which made the event more memorable for him. What was interesting was although Ayan enjoys public speaking, he also feels a little shy among large gatherings, so he prefers small groups. When we asked him about his dream topic, he mentioned a fun and imaginative idea:- “the ability to talk to animals”, just as in the movie Dr. Dolittle. Ayan had a simple yet encouraging message for other children: give your best, and you might discover a new passion for speaking. Apart from speaking, Ayan also dreams of winning a prize for drumming, combining his love for music with his vibrant personality. Ayan is a bright young boy with big dreams indeed! Story of SPEAKER Nisha: failure became direct way of success

GEMA’s student speaker Nisha’s journey is a powerful reminder that true growth occurs when we have a passion to learn from our failures rather than fear of them. His speech “learning from failures” is relevant to every student who has gone through self-doubt in some stage of life. Here are some of the major dimensions of his journey: 1. Emotionally resonant messagesNisha’s speech theme was deeply emotional and relatable. “Learning from failures” is a universal concept, but he presented the subject with his personal touch in such a way that everyone who listens feels a connection. His message was simple, but there was maturity and depth in delivery. 2. High-level preparation strategy He made more than 20 retakes to correct his speech, after each recording an analytical self-review, and impartially identified and improved. This perspective shows that Nisha as a speaker has considered the speech as a serious craft in which discipline and a process-operated mentality are central. 3. Parent reaction as a developmental structureNisha’s mother not only provided emotional incentives but also played the role of important mentorship. Her response was structured and action-worthy, which pushed Nisha towards reflective thinking and recurrence improvement. This continuous response loop became an integral part of its personal change.important chapter of that process.4. Process-oriented mentalityHis greatest strength was that it was the process—and not the result. The victory was secondary to him—he gave importance to daily practice, frequent refinement, and a development-focused attitude. His approach reflects the mindset of a mature artist. 5. Self -confidence Nisha’s confidence as a speaker was not a natural gift, but she earned it through hard work. He was initially hesitant, but he focused every day, worked on his weak points and slowly intensified his speaking skills. When he performed on stage, there was clarity in every word and every expression in maturity. This polish was the result of a long process – which clearly showed its commitment and the attitude of self -reform. conclusion:Nisha’s journey tells us that if someone has surrendered, gets the right direction, and keeps working on themselves, then one can bring out the abilities hidden within her. He proved that success is not achieved in a day – this is a process, and failure in that process is the most important step. Know more about our team GEMA here.
